A release date from Perry iSOMS can confirm that a booking exited the county jail. FOIL can then show whether a TDOC-classified person is incarcerated elsewhere, on parole, on probation, or inactive. Court orders explain bond, dismissal, sentencing, and other judicial action. These records supply context VINELink is not designed to provide.
Register Perry County Release Alerts
Notification controls appear on a matching record when the agency and event support them. The current interface may offer phone, text, or email. A voice registration uses a four-digit PIN. That PIN acknowledges an event when the automated call arrives; it is not the offender's ID. Email registration does not use the voice PIN.

- Enter the destination carefully. Keep personal contact details out of saved public screenshots.
- Create or enter the four-digit PIN when the voice channel asks for one. Store it privately.
- Complete the email, text, voice, or on-screen confirmation. Keep the registration details and offender number separate.
- Update contact information when it changes and verify every alert against the reporting agency's official record.
Tennessee SAVIN lists 1-888-868-4631 and TTY 1-866-847-1298 for help. Published state material says an unanswered automated call may leave a message and keep calling until the PIN is entered or the calling period ends. An operator can help reset a forgotten PIN or cancel a registration. Multiple destinations may be available, and registration is confidential.
Confirm Perry County VINELink Alerts
Alerts can be delayed. They are not legal service, and they cannot promise safety. After an alert, reopen the record and note the agency, event, and time. Perry County Release Event Meanings
Tennessee materials identify release, transfer, and escape among notification events. Each has a distinct meaning. Release says the reporting custodian recorded an exit. Transfer says custody moved. Escape is an unplanned departure and should never be described as a lawful release. The last event should be read with the custody status and agency name.

An alert may repeat until it is acknowledged, depending on the channel and current program rules. Review the notification settings after a contact change. If an expected notice does not arrive, check the official agency record directly. Notification delivery is a convenience, not a substitute for the custodian's release record or a court notice.
Save a neutral log of the agency name, tracked identifier, event wording, event time, and the time the message arrived. That makes a later discrepancy easier to explain without exposing the registered phone, email, or PIN. If the alert and iSOMS differ, ask the Perry County Jail which event its Release Date represents and whether another agency received the person.
For a TDOC record, compare the notice with FOIL's exact Supervision Status and Assigned Location. Parole or probation beside a field office points to community supervision. Incarcerated beside a different institution points to continued custody after transfer. Inactive means state supervision is no longer active, but the related sentence and release dates still need to be read.
When a name search produces several candidates, do not register until identifiers match. A wrong registration can generate confusing alerts about another person. Return to the agency record, find the booking or offender number, and then repeat the VINELink search with that stronger identifier if the interface permits it.
